   There is a man drought. Haven't you heard? Fact is, many men and women have difficulty finding a mate. You can't solve that with a sex doll or a stick-on… it takes *time* (insert your own word).

   Oh, one more thing…. you failed to realise that those sex dolls don't have teeth and their feelings are hard to injure…. so I am not so agreeable to your notion that they are unhealthy…. just because they are a bit "strange" by your impeccable moral standards.

   You have not asked a question about real dolls. Not with this profile anyway. Did you get kicked?

   Obviously none of the other respondents have mail order brides… I think Prostitutes play an important role in society, that the profession is recognised by our govt and is legal, and ought to be so. Nothing psychological about it.

   I dunno, but once I saw this movie, kinda porn it's called "Love Object" where the guy was in love with a girl at work and buys himself a sexdoll that looks just like that girl. So after a while, the real girl does like him back, but then the sexdoll comes to life. The doll gets jelaous and tries to kill the real girl. Anyway, it's "common" but it's not normal. Get out there, talk to some people. Trust me, if you talk to some friends, (socialize) they might seem less desperate and girls might be interested.

   Okay, I'm sitting here dabbing my eyes one more time! It was beautiful and I would like to do this full-time, but somebody has to have a job with benefits! Maybe someday “Will-Do Weddings” can become a reality. You really were a great bride-to-be and didn't even go postal on me! We do have a great support team, especially “Barry”, who helps us get through the toughest of times. I love them all, but I especially love my two little bride dolls who make me so very proud! BTW, should I change my name now or continue to be The Wedding Elf?

   I am surprised that this very issue was not covered in discussions with the councillors in the children's hospital before your daughter was discharged. This exact issue is so commonplace among children after Chemo, that there is a tried and trusted solution agreed with the phycology professionals.
   I have to take your fathers side on this. You are treating her differently from other children, which has to be wrong, especially at such a young age. You are giving out all the wrong signals. She will always expect to be pampered for the rest of her life, because of her illness as a kid,
   If things are awkward for you now, wait until she is a teenager, and wait for the tantrums and fights.
   You say that this is beneficial to her mental health ! Who told you that ? you are doing precisely the opposite.
   I know how confusing all of this must be for a single dad, but seek professional help, for both of you AND listen to you Dad.

   Its a hard one, and I can see both sides.

   If your daughter is so totally upset about her appearance, if it was only a tiny bit on her cheeks so it looked natural, maybe I'd give her that – but I certainly wouldn't do an Aunt Sally. On the other hand I wouldn't be happy with it.

   I think I'd have to be in your shoes to know what I'd do, and I pray to God I never am.
