what is the weather like in Sorrento in October? Hotel Capodimonte?
I am going to Sorrento on the 19th October staying at the Hotel Capodimonte - has anyone stayed here and did they enjoy it - also what type of weather can be expected?
It is usually still really nice, swimsuits by the pool etc. and more air movement than in mid Summer. Can usually expect the odd day of rain in October and when it rains in Sorrento it really does rain!!

how can i find where my capodimonte is from? Any good? Fake? has a stamp with a crest and says r capodimonte?
I cannot find anything with this stamp on it to compare the urn and two vases to. The crest has an e and a b on each side. It's signed R Capodinomte. I have found other vases that look like these but I don't know what these are worth! HELP! I don't know anything about Capodimonte. I am doing this research for a friend.
Personally, I have always thought that Capodimonte porcelain always looked tacky and don't understand why ANYONE would even have it in their home. I still cannot understand, too, why anyone would pay the prices they do for something that looks like it came from a dollar store.
Oh well, to each their own, I guess. Good Luck in your search.

Capodimonte is a well known name in pottery/porcelain. I would guess Nuova means new..so perhaps it is a new generation of that crafter. Google Capodimonte.

Vintage Capodimonte Italy Porcelain Roses Candle Holder ~
There is so much capodimonte around, I doubt it would be worth much unless it was quite old. Nuova probably indicates it was done very recently. There are collectors out there however, look on ebay for prices and photos.
