How do you set up an aromatherapy kit?
My mom received an aromatherapy kit from a friend. I have no idea how she needs to set it up... It has a ceramic plate with a spot for a tea light, two extra tea lights, a couple of little bottles of sandalwood frangrance, a porcelain leaf and beads, and a regular leaf with some three-or-four inch pieces of what I think is hemp. How is this supposed to be set up?
It didn't come with directions, and since it is a gift, it wouldn't be appropriate to return it.
I would take it to the store and explain that you cant work out how to set this up and can they explain as it did not come with directions and it was a gift ... this is a different kit than the one i was given so i m not much help

A bottle of cologne fell out of my medicine cabinet and punched a hole in my porcelain sink. How can I repair?
In a totally freak accident a bottle of cologne fell out of my medicine cabinet and apparently hit the sweet spot of my porcelain sink and punched a hole approximately two inches in width at it's max and 3.5 inches wide. The break was clean, with the broken portion being in two separate pieces. What can I do, short of buying a new sink at the moment, to thoroughly seal this hole up AND make it look halfway decent. Down the road (by summer) I will purchase a new sink but I'm looking for a solid fix in the mean while. I figure that I'll have to use a water proof epoxy to fix the broken portions back in place but realize I will have to use some kind of a support inside the sink to provide a hold for the epoxied on portions.

There's a product out called Appliance Touch-up.
It comes in a small bottle.
Comes in different colors.
It's fortified with epoxy.
And it's made for repairing porcelain and enamel.
It comes with a brush applicator.
Sort of like nail polish.
That should do the trick until you replace the sink.

Yes but, Check the bottom of the toilet, remember the toilet has to sit on the tile, and see if there is enough space for the flange to fit in the space around the drain horn at the bottom of the bowl. You don't want the toilet to sit on the flange and rock. If it looks like there is space, just screw the flange to the sub floor through the tile.. You may want to pre-drill the tile with a carbide bit.

Yes it can be on the floor. It does need to be screwed down through to the subfloor though. Make sure you position the flange so that the closet bolt holes are at 3 and 9 o'clock from the wall.
The flange can rest on the tile but you need to make sure that rests solidly all the way around and sits on the "outer lip". Some flanges require a larger hole than size of the drain pipe to accomodate the rib structure, etc…. in this case you will have to open the hole up.
Drill through tile only to leave subfloor for your screws to bite into and make sure that the holes for the toliet mounting screws are aligned properly or your toilet will sit angled to the wall.
