   hag..ones more, could you imagine if their has mortal porcelain faces but bodies getting older…fat around stomach smooth on faces

   A series of disconnected images that sprang into my mind as I listened to E S Posthumus:(apologies for lack of punctuation)slim delicate hand drafting a vast complex design of circles and epicycles and wheels spinning clockwork something assembled in a shipyard with scudding clouds in the cobalt sky old man dying in a bed of skins and furs with ravens dancing attendance on him scruffy orphan with furious determination on his face darting through a maze of alleys cats racing before him to herald his passage sinister doll-like woman white hair porcelain face robotic hand chased with brass gripping a sword cane a rotting ship beached in meadows thousands of miles from ocean with laughing girls playing hide and seek between decaying spars spire of sandstone sprouting from roaring grey waves dark-haired man impressive eyebrows screaming defiance at the sky horrible maimed bat twelve feet long stalking through crystalline deserts reflecting the stars above blindness is the only salvation something disappearing into gray distance with swallows pursuing it mice racing on clotheslines.

   Because animated movies are meant to be animated, not realistic! I dunno, it something about the way that the bodies are so lifelike, except for the porcelain faces. It's a little bizarre looking to me.

   That's awesome! I could really picture this in my head and was already getting freaked out!! The first few sentences don't seen necessary, but other than that, great job!

    Is this the first chapter/ prologue, because if it is it is the most unoriginal cliche overused beginning that there is, in the history of the universe. Even if its not the very beginning its still a cheesy way to start anything, so i'd redo that.

    The writing is okay, i don't look at it and see genius, but its not terrible. I think this scene should be longer. Something as significant as a birth/ creation should have more detail than 3-4 paragraphs. What did Demetri Sage talk about with Alina, that's important, those are the first things its ever told.

    Also, i'm confused, if the machine was smart enough to understand existence, and smart enough to speak, and knew its owner, then why did it have to ask who it was, or what it was? Shouldn't it know? And why would it be programmed to question? Is he trying to start the robot apocolypse.

    Rose- I think we're supposed to critique the work, not kiss the writer's ass.
