A simple but touching poem?

Please, tell me if you like it

Do you remember our sweet life
When we were so young
And had in our heart no other desire
Than to be clothed and in love

When by adding your age to mine
We couldn't reach forty years between us
And, in our humble little home
Everything, even winter, seemed spring

Beautiful days
The world sat to incredible banquets
My freinds said I was eloquent, and your blouse
Had a pin that pricked me

I read a lot of Plato, but remember nothing
Better than Malbranche and Lammenais
You showed me celestial kindness
With the flower you gave me

Our gardens were a single lilac
You screened the window with your slip
I would use the cracked clay bowl
And gave you the porcelain cup

The great calamities made us laugh
Your lashes burnt your stocking lost
And the beloved portrait of divine Shakespeare
That we sold one evening for our supper

That is truly beautiful...
I love the imagery that it gives the reader.

While reading it, I was able to feel what you felt, see what you saw, and hear what you heard.

VERY good.

I especially liked the pricking blouse part. =]

#15) Decorate with porcelain slip!

What type of floor tile is recommended for an outdoor entertainment area ,sandstone or porcelain.?

base is concrete and has a spa ,so slip is a concern

I'd stick with the sandstone, it's more absorbent than porcelain which can be slippery.

We got rid of ours. We had it reglazed but eventually that started to flake off. You can buy deep tubs now. They are making a comeback. I've seem them on HGTV. So you'll just have to shop around.

You might be able to pull it out, sand blast it yourself to remove all of the old porecelain. Call some body shops and see if they do powder coating? If they do, that would be a way to go instead of having it lined in porcelain again. Nice benefit, you can get almost any color, you do the outside in one color and the inside a different color. The powder coating will hold up for years. The draw back will be to find someone with a big oven because its baked on.

without a rebath in your area you are better off to replace the tub. Talk to a local contractor if you are looking for a deep tub. Anything they make in a whirlpool is available without jets for a xtra deep tub or some companys do make remodel tubs that are deep. Any plumbing wholesale house with a showroom will be happy to show you different style tubs

Tilex works really well in my tub.

Just go on-line and search clawfoot tubs, if that's the type of older tub you mean, there are lots of new ones out there. Be prepared for a little sticker shock. Or go to your nearest building/plumbing supply place and check their catalogues to see what they can order in. It's possible to refinish an old one yourself with epoxy paint, but it's quite a lot of work if you have to fill holes in the old tub, and the paint doesn't stand up all that well, nothing like the original porcelain.I'd go for a new tub, however pricey it may be. if you enjoy baths you might as well get a comfortable tub.
