What is this jug called & used for?
I have this unusual jug with two spouts. The inside is only one compartment. It is about 7.5cm high. I have been told it is Victorian. There are no marks on the base. Hi! Every two spouted jug I have seen in the past has been used in wedding ceremonies. I saw one demonstrated in Israel at a small shop right across the street from the church at Canna, where Jesus turned the water into wine at the wedding ceremony.
It is to represent two lives being joined into one.

Love the colorful Mexican birds! Yesterday, I paid a visit to a local thrift/antique store. I bought a beautiful cranberry glass bottle with a raised fruit pattern on it. Thought it would go beautifully with the fruit motif in my kitchen. I also picked up a porcelain Victorian doll only about 6″ tall. The detail on her outfit is beautiful. Then, we found a teapot that matches a set that my Mom bought for my grandmother almost 60 years ago. Her pot accidentally got cracked, so this “new” one is a perfect replacement. The best part is the saleswoman gave me 50% off everything! Made my day!
