It is not an antique. It is a collectible and has value to someone who likes this type of doll.
Do a search for this on eBay and see what people are paying for it or similar dolls.

I think that orphans are used commonly in many stories because it is an easy character to build conflict upon. When you hear of an orphan, many are curious to know how they became orphans and the story behind it all. It is an easy platform for the authors to create a backdrop for the character's future problems (story).

As for Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, he is King Arthur's nephew and the son of Arthur's sister and King Lot of Orkney and Lothian. (I googled Sir Gawain's parentage for that info) I think the reason why he's not as close with his parents is because Sir Gawain is a knight. Honourly duties come first before a close relationship with his parents. Besides, most of the stories he is in involve him going on journeys and crazy adventures.

In Romeo and Juliet, the relationship between parent and child is different from today. Children were expected to be like porcelain dolls. They are to follow and respect whatever their parents' wishes are, like Juliet. Even though they might secretly dislike it (like Juliet), they usually comply anyways. Romeo's parents genuinely cared for him (scene when Romeo died and Count Montague lamented that his son died beform him). Even though Romeo's parents gave him more freedom then Juliet's parents, it does not mean that their parents were not an important part in their lives. So, I disagree with you when you say that the 'orphan substitute' was present in Romeo and Juliet.

I have porcelain skin. I get rid of the redness by using concealer after I apply my foundation. Get a really really light bronzer ( yellow or pink ) and sweep it over your cheeks.

The writing is a little awkward and, if you wanted a proofread, there's a lot I would change…. But it definitely looks like the writing of a 16 year old native English speaker.

Nah, I've heard much much more scarier CreepyPasta. Look around on the internet if you want to find scarier tales. The Theater in particular is one.
